This vehicle was 1 of 10 Compact Fire & Rescue Tenders (C/FRT) ordered by Dumfries and Galloway Fire Brigade.
Built on a Renault/Dodge G08 chassis with bodywork by Excalibur CBK Ltd of Bursley, Stoke-on-Trent.

The vehicle was first allocated to Annan Fire Station in 1988 as the second appliance, until 2002 when she was used as a reserve appliance. The vehicle had a short spell at Moffat Fire Station and then moved back to the reserve fleet. It was subsequently disposed off in 2004.

After service with Dumfries & Galloway Fire Brigade, the vehicle found a new home and was used for fire cover and water pumping at Drumlanrig Mains,Thornhill. The vehicle had fell into disuse and was purchased by a group member in October 2012. Restoration will begin soon and should be on display in 2013.
