Picture
This Land Rover fire engine was built in 1980 by HCB Angus of Southampton for Industrial Fire Brigade Garringtons Ltd. Bromsgrove.  It was bought from the factory in 2003 by a Chap from Rugby who who intended restoring it but never got round to it.  It was eventually put up for sale in November 2006 and is now owned by Archie McKinnon of East Kilbride, Scotland.

The Vehicle has a 100 gallon water tank and a 300 gallons per minute Godiva water pump with 2 deliveries.  It also has 1 Hose reel with Foam Fog (This was added by the Factory). The Garringtons factory had its own 3 bay fire station and the Land Rover shared it with a Ford Transit ambulance (JUY 123K) and 2 Mini pickup fire engines.  The first (WKR 697J) is now converted to a standard pick up however the location of the second (YWP 167R) is unknown.
